Pastel Wedding Colors – Seven Dreamy Combinations

If you are having a spring or summer wedding, you might want to consider using pastels or soft colors as your wedding colors. Actually, a pastel or soft-colored palette can work in the winter also; for example, pairing a soft pink with silver or gold. Pastels and soft colors can create a dreamy and romantic look to your wedding palette.

In this blog post I’ll share seven of my favorite wedding color combinations with you to help you decide if you want to go in this direction for your wedding colors.

Blush Wedding Color: Blush is the softest of pinks and it pairs beautifully with champagne, gold and ivory. This is a luscious palette that will work in spring and summer but also in winter.

Pink and Gold Wedding Colors: This combination is a step up in color intensity from Blush and Champagne. It is elegant and like the collage above, these colors would also work well in winter, in addition to the obvious spring and summer.

Mint green and Ballet Pink Wedding Colors: This combination works best for spring and summer. These colors also are popular for vintage-themed weddings or Shabby Chic. Ballet pink is a soft pink with peach undertones. Mint Green and Ballet Pink Wedding Colors

Mint Green and Powder Blue Wedding Colors: Perfect for spring and summer this combination works well for outdoor/garden weddings.Powder-Blue-and-Mint-Green-Wedding-Colors

Lavender and Yellow Wedding Colors: Yellow can take on an entirely different look when it is shown in a muted tone. This is a good combination for spring and summer. If you like the colors but are having a wedding in the latter part of the year, you can just pump up the intensity and use purple or even a dark lavender with bright yellow.

Lavender and White Wedding Colors: This “crisp” combination has a fresh and springy vibe to it. For later in the year you could use purple with white or silver to achieve a similar color palette.

Pink and Silver Wedding Colors: Even though these colors are soft, they can work for winter, as well as spring and summer. This color palette is not one that I would suggest for a rustic or country wedding. It works best in a formal or semi formal setting.Pink-and-Silver-Wedding-Colors

Who is the designer for the lavender and white dresses? Also what is the exact color called? I have been looking everywhere for this color!

I don’t know who the designer is on the dresses. The color shown is lavender but I’ve noticed that some dress manufacturers call all sorts of colors lavender! The color shown is a pinkish-purple color. I sure hope you can find what you are looking for. I’ll be on the lookout as well.

      Best wishes,
