Turquoise Wedding Color – Seven Perfect Combinations

Turquoise is a popular and beloved wedding color. It can work for weddings in all seasons, depending on the other color(s) it is paired with. For example, if you add pink, it becomes a fresh and summery combination. And when combined with red it works for all seasons. You may wonder how it can be used in winter months; but if you use accessories styled for winter, it can be perfect for those months, too.

Turquoise and Yellow Wedding Colors
Yellow paired with Turquoise makes a bright and sunny combination for spring and summer weddings.

Turquoise and Red Wedding Colors
Turquoise and Red works for all seasons. Just be sure to use season-appropriate accessories and you can enjoy this combination any time of year.

Turquoise and Pink Wedding Colors
Turquoise and Pink is perfect for warm months. You can use a soft pink or hot pink, depending on the look you are trying to achieve.

Turquoise and Coral Wedding Colors
Turquoise and Coral can work for spring, summer and fall. It isn’t always seen in fall and can be a unique combination you might want to consider. This combination is often seen in beach weddings.

Turquoise and Purple Wedding Colors
Turquoise and Purple is a luscious combination that seems to work best in spring and summer. If you want to use this combination in fall or winter, just choose shades that are a little bit darker.

Turquoise with Black & White Wedding Colors
These colors can work in any season. The addition of white helps break up the intensity of the black and turquoise to create a perfect combination.

Turquoise with Green Wedding Colors
Turquoise and green is a fresh combination that is perfect for spring and summer weddings. It’s also a good combination for beach weddings.  I used a warm tone-green in this collage, which includes apple green and lime green.

what do u think about turquoise purple pink and a touch of lilac.

      • Exclusively Weddings

Hi Jay, I suggest choosing two colors as your main color scheme and then adding a touch of the other two. It is just easier that way! Turquoise and Purple is a gorgeous combination and you could make those the main colors and then include some pink and lilac as accents. Those colors sound lovely to me! Best wishes!

I love the turquoise and green. However is there a way I could include a touch of red. Very insignificant amount. Could I see such a combo of possible?

    June 6, 2014 at 7:28 pm
    • Exclusively Weddings

Hi Fanny, Adding a touch of red should not be a problem at all. Turquoise, especially, looks great with red. I don’t have any collages with three colors right now. Most all of them are just two colors but I really think you will be fine adding just a touch of red. I would keep it to a minimum though! If you are looking for a 3rd color, you may want to consider coral.

Thanks so much for stopping by our blog. Best wishes!

I like the turquoise, white and black but the venue stage has a red and gold curtain. Do you have any ideas how I can still keep my preferred three colors but not let the curtain be an eyesore?

    July 17, 2014 at 10:09 pm
    • Exclusively Weddings

Hi Nessa! It’s a tough situation but you could just ignore the curtains and make your decor so fabulous that no one will even look at them! OR you could add a touch of red in to your decor. Turquoise and red is a great combination and black and white are neutrals so they would fit right in. I hope this helps!

Hi Cassie, I don’t have “where to buy” info on the dress but here is a link to a larger photo in case it might help. The photographer’s name is on the photo and I tried to find more info on their site, but couldn’t find anything. I think the photo is at least a couple years old. I hope you find it! Best wishes!

    I love the coral and turquoise, however our wedding is scheduled on nov. 28, 2015 and here in the philippines it is christmas season and NOT SUMMER so my soon-to-be hubby and I is considering the following;

Turquoise+Silver+Black as accent or Turquoise+Red+Black as accent

For the above two motifs I prefer the first one because I am afraid that the red will be more emphasized than my favorite color which is TURQUOISE. But my husbands fave color is red, is ther a possible way in which we can use the RED color hence, it will not be emphasized as the main color but rather just an accent to the TURQUOISE?

Your reply will be greatly appreciated.

    • Exclusively Weddings

Hi Shirley, Yes, it is easy to use just a little bit of red. For example, your bridesmaids can wear turquoise but you could add some red flowers in their bouquets. Or you could add a red sash to their dresses. Or for your centerpieces … maybe some red berries as an accent. I’m not sure if the men are wearing tuxedos but if not, they could wear ties that are turquoise with a little red in them. If they are wearing tuxedos … perhaps cummerbunds in a plaid that uses both red and turquoise. Just use the red as an accent color … not too much of it and I think you will be fine. Best wishes!

  • Christiana

Woow I love turquoise and pink. But wanted to ask a friend is planning her wedding and I wanted to know if turquoise green with hot pink would be ok with another colour. Which other colour with turquoise and a touch of white would do.

    June 5, 2015 at 1:49 pm
    • Exclusively Weddings

Hi Christiana, I think you get the most impact with fewer colors. Use one or two as the main color(s) and then you can always add a couple other colors in small amounts as accents. White can always be added to help break up the colors. So if you want to use turquoise with pink along with white, that would be beautiful!

So I hope you will spend some time looking around the blog! Best wishes to you now and especially in 2018!

Very lovely! I want to use Turquoise, red and pink for my wedding coming up by November this year. Will it make sense?

    June 2, 2016 at 8:48 am
    • Exclusively Weddings

Hi Mercy, My personal opinion is that the combination just doesn’t work. I would go with just two of those colors. Or if you want three colors, use a dark pink, light pink and turquoise.

      I hope this helps.
      Best wishes!

Hello, my cloth for my traditional wedding is turquoise blue and coral, please which colour of accessories can I use?

    June 18, 2016 at 4:11 am
    • Exclusively Weddings

      Hi Damie,

You can use either color or use a little bit of both colors. For example in the Turquoise & Coral collage, the table cloth is Turquoise and in the middle is a coral table runner. Also on the back of a chair, you can tie a turquoise bow and then use coral flowers as an added accent. So have fun with both of these colors as Turquoise & Coral is such a beautiful color combination. For more ideas, you can check out our Pinterest boards – Wedding Color Story Collages and/or the – Coral Pinterest Board.

Hello! I’m thinking of turquoise, yellow & red for my December wedding. What do you think?
    Help!!!

    June 18, 2016 at 12:43 pm
    • Exclusively Weddings

Personally I would choose only two colors for the main color say Turquoise and Red and use a little of the yellow as an accent color. Normally, Turquoise and Yellow are used during the Spring & Summer months since when paired together creates a bright sunny combination; but If December is warm where you are located that would work as well. Best Wishes!

what do you think about turquoise, baby pink and gold .

    July 4, 2016 at 1:42 am

Personally, I would have two main colors then have the third color as the accent. So you could have the turquoise and baby pink as the main colors with gold as the accent color. Best wishes!
