Your Wedding Color Story – Part 2

A couple of weeks ago we had a post dedicated to choosing your wedding colors. We posted 17 color-story collages and you can see the post here: Your Color Story – Choosing Your Wedding Colors.

We’ve been busy on our Facebook page taking requests for color stories from our Fans and now we have 20 more color-story collages.

Be sure to click on the photos to see the full-size versions.

Royal Blue and Silver was requested by our Facebook fans more than any other color combination. This is a great color choice, especially for winter, although it works great for spring and summer, too. It is an elegant, somewhat formal combination.Royal Blue and Silver Wedding

Blue and Yellow is a happy, sunny combination. It works well with sunflowers because sunflowers look so good with blue. This versatile color combination works especially well for an informal or rustic wedding.

Lime Green is a lovely color for spring and summer. In this collage we simply paired it with white for a simple approach to this vibrant color.

A vibrant and particularly beautiful combination of colors are the Peacock Colors of turquoise, purple, green and blue. We have a blog post that features the Peacock colors. Here is a link to it: Your Wedding Colors –  Peacock

For lovers of purple, the combination of Purple with Black and White is sophisticated and striking. It works especially well for fall and winter weddings.

Purple and Turquoise is one of those color combinations that makes us want to say “wow”! It works for weddings all year long but especially in spring and summer.

Pink and Black is a very popular combination for our Facebook fans. After putting the color story collage together I could see why. The medium and soft pink really pop against the black and create a very appealing combination. You can choose from the many shades of pink but a blush pink, soft pink and medium pink seem to work best to contrast with black.

A Pink and Green combination is perfect for spring and summer weddings. This is a charming combination.

Pink and Silver is fit for a princess! It works especially well for a formal or semi-formal wedding. It is lovely for an elegant beach wedding, also.

Pink and Gold has an opulent, glamorous appearance. It works for spring, summer and winter weddings. In this color-story collage we used a soft, ballet pink.

Coral is a spring and summer favorite. This pink-ish orange color works well with the addition of turquoise or yellow, as well as the neutral white, as shown below.

Turquoise with Black and White is another vibrant choice. The combination is so versatile and works in any season.

A Green and Brown combination has an earthy, “organic” feel to it. For an outdoor wedding in the fall, this combination works really well.

For a formal or semi-formal wedding adding Gold with Black & White creates a really gorgeous wedding palette. This combination work for all seasons but especially well in the winter.

A Red, White and Blue palette works in many situations. For a Memorial Day or July 4 wedding, you might want to consider this combination. For a military wedding or when the bride or groom has been serving in the military, this combination is perfect. And it works especially well with an outdoor wedding. With the right touch, this combination can look elegant. Collages created by Sher Silver.
