Your Wedding Colors – Peacock

Peacock Flower GirlWhen choosing colors for your wedding, if you don’t shy away from vibrant colors and if you like colors in the purple and blue families, then you might want to consider a Peacock Color Theme.

One of the most luscious color schemes for weddings, this combination can include just the “peacock colors” or it can also include actual peacock feathers in the décor.

The colors  of a Peacock Theme are turquoise, royal blue, green, and purple. The purple color can vary as shown in the color chart below from a true purple to a color that leans more toward magenta or plum. Regardless of the exact shades, the hallmark of the Peacock theme is “vibrant” blues and purples with some green, as well. There often is a little bit of gold that is used as an accent.

There are lots of ways to incorporate the peacock theme in to the wedding, including food and drink, as well as the wedding cake … and purple shoes fit right in with the color scheme!Peacock Color Story

Can anyone tell me where I can get those purple and turquoise ceiling drapes in collage 3???

Hi there and thanks for stopping by our blog. My guess is that the ceiling drapes were done by an event stylist. They probably sourced the fabric and then custom hung it on the ceiling. I am doubtful that it is something that could be bought off the shelf since the size would have to be customized for the size of the room, etc. Best wishes! ~ Sher

this is what i am doing at mine. we are using a styrofoam ring and tulle to create it. 🙂 I also seen it done with a wire coat hanger. We are filling mine with balloons. Just because they create something so beautiful with a high $$$$ price tag doesn’t mean you can’t make it to look just as stunning for way less. Good luck 🙂

Hi, I think you are referring to the photo of a drink that sort of looks like orange juice that is in a short glass with an orchid in it ? If so, I got the image from Pinterest and did some searching to find the source for you. Here is a link that I hope will help. Best wishes!

In that same collage, on the bottom right, are a bunch of martini glasses filled with different colored drinks and something of another color in the bottom of the glass. What are those please? I love the look and would like to do something like this at my daughter’s wedding.

        Thank you,
