Until I received this, I assumed this chaser would hold beer in the bottom half. I haven't tried it yet, but the printed story that comes with it (nice touch!) has me thinking the JD will only float with water as the chaser. Will let you know how it goes. It does look nice and feels sturdy.
Recommend: No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is actually pretty cool and it really works! My husband was pleasantly surprised when he tried it out. You put beer in the bottom and Jack in the top. We gave it as part of a gift for our groomsmen with a bottle of Jack, a bottle of beer, and a flask.
