These came packaged well. The only improvement I could recommend is that the placecards themselves arrive on a sheet that could be loaded into a printer for easy labeling. Writing these myself "perfectly" the first time was tedious and time consuming, but I would say worth it. The shells look just as pictured, and are real shells which must have been laser or water cut. I used them for my wedding which was July 7 2009 in the Bahamas. The wedding was actually not on the beach itself, but it gave everything an elegant but casual feel that married the venue over the harbor to the beach nearby.
