Surprise Engagement

My fiancé and I went to college together at Ohio State, but one weekend we were both going home. He was going home to Cleveland and I was going to my house which was four hours away from Cleveland. It was a Friday night, and I had plans to meet up with a few of my friends. My one friend has a cabin back in the woods where I was supposed to meet up with them. It was about 7 o'clock and I was on my way there. My boyfriend called me to see what I was up to and I told him where I was going. He said that he was going to watch a movie with his dad so he had to go. He was only on the phone for a minute. Then I showed up at my friends cabin. Outside of the cabin was my friends car (little did I know that my boyfriend had switched cars with him). Then I went inside and as soon as I shut the door I heard someone strumming the guitar upstairs in the loft. Instantly I knew something was up. It was the very first song my boyfriend had played for me on the night that we met in college. So I walk upstairs and I see him sitting there strumming the guitar. He tells me to sit beside him, so I do. He then goes on to plays "I thought I loved you then" by Brad Paisley. And then he said he had a surprise for me. He goes over to his guitar case and opens it up. There was a bottle of wine and two glasses. So we each got a glass of wine. Then he told me to sit on the bed and he sat beside it. He started playing "If I had a million dollars", which is my favorite song. And then he changed the lyrics. He said "If I had a million dollars you'd probably still be mad at me, for buying you a ring that was too fancy, but maybe you'd say YES." He then asked me if I knew what day it was, and I said Friday. He told me it was exactly two years since the day we met, and he how happy he's been since then. He then got on one knee and he proposed. I said "YES" and then we went to see my family, my dad already knew because he had asked him a few weeks before. Then later in the night we went back to the cabin where my fiancé had arranged for all my friends to be and celebrate with us. A night just spending time with my friends with my boyfriend 4 hours away turned into much much more!
